Day 48: Hamburg to Amsterdam

Today is a day when we are travelling to Amsterdam, one of the beautiful places to visit. The distance is around 600 kilometres.

We started at about noon and we stopped on the Highway A1, one of the best highways in the world.  We were going from Germany to Netherlands.

The journey was good. Star TV wanted video during our journey. So, we stopped near a Petrol pump after filling petrol, we took the video and sent it to Star TV. May be, they telecast our videos before the match between India and Sri Lanka.

The countryside in Europe is very good. Lots of greenery.

Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th century golden age. Cycling is very common. There are bike paths.  The trams are common and trams and cars run at the same road.  The boats are run in the canals. There are regular services of the boats and they have stops. People travel by boat regularly.

Amsterdam is the fourth most densely populated European Union city proper - 3,382 people per square kms.
