Day 38: Rest day in Moscow

Today also we are in Moscow. Two of our team members who joined us in Xian in China are returning to Singapore. Aditi and Avya were returning to Singapore since Aditi had to attend office from tomorrow.

It was really very difficult for Aviv and Avya to part. They were very emotional. They hugged each other repeatedly before saying Good-bye.

We all went to airport. Moscow airport is very good. After saying Good-bye to both members, we thought of taking lunch. We thought of searching McDonald, Burger King, Subway or KFC. As we walked 100 metres, we found Ganeshji’s sculpture in front of a restaurant, ‘Pepperica’. We thought that if Ganesh ji is there, we may get Indian food. We were craving for Indian food. We went to the door and found the Menu card kept outside. Oh …. Really they have Indian dishes also. Our joy was there to be seen!!!

When we went inside, the first question asked was whether we want Russian or Indian food. We were very happy and relieved that we will get Indian food after a long gap. We got some very good hot Indian dishes. Butter naan, Garlic naan, Chicken Masala, Dal Tadka, Palak Paneer. Mazaa aa gaya !! Aviv wanted to have Subway sandwich, which he got from Subway nearby.

We returned to our hotel and had a very good sleep that evening. The rest day at last was enjoyed by us.
